Theological Contributions
In addition to his ethical teachings, Al-Sallar al-Deylami made significant contributions to Shia theology. His interpretations of Islamic doctrines underscore the importance of divine justice and the role of the Imams as divinely appointed leaders. Deylami posited that understanding the nature of the Imams is central to grasping the essence of Islamic faith.
His insistence on the concept of Wilayah (guardianship) articulated a distinct theological perspective that the Imams serve a pivotal role in guiding believers towards the truth.
