Al-Sayyid al-Murtada’s contributions are best understood through his extensive writings, which encompass various dimensions of Islamic thought. His most notable work, “Al-Shafi,” is a legal treatise that articulates the principles of Shia jurisprudence. This work not only addresses the foundations of Shia law but also delineates the differences between Shia and Sunni legal interpretations.
