Jabrail

Jabrail’s most esteemed role is that of the messenger, delivering revelations to the prophets designated by God. His pivotal function is primarily documented in the context of the final prophet, Muhammad. The Qur’an elucidates numerous instances where Jabrail is tasked with revealing divine instructions and guidance. In Shia belief, this includes the significant revelations during the Night of Ascension (Isra and Mi’raj), where Jabrail accompanies the Prophet on his celestial journey.

The Qur’an, regarded as the literal word of God, was delivered to Muhammad through Jabrail over a span of approximately 23 years. This process, termed ‘Wahy’, is fundamental to Islamic doctrine.
