A hallmark of Molla Salih’s teachings is his emphasis on moral and ethical instruction as integral components of education. He contended that traditional curricula, while steeped in rigorous intellectual traditions, often neglected the nurturing of virtues. His approach was holistic; he advocated for a balanced education that harmonized intellectual rigor with moral character development.

Mazandarani argued that the medrese should not only produce knowledgeable scholars but also morally conscious individuals who can contribute positively to society. He sought to instill values of justice, empathy, and community service in students. His efforts led to the establishment of new methodologies in the medrese that incorporated contemporary pedagogical theories while retaining the core principles of Shia Islam.
