2. Mualla’s Life and Companionship
Mualla b. Khunays al-Kufi was among the closer companions of Imam Ali and was also present in the circles surrounding Imam Hussain. This proximity to the Imams, crucially, afforded him a substantial role in the dissemination of Shiite teachings as he actively participated in the social and religious fabric of his time. His life was characterized by service, and his exemplary devotion established him as a paragon of virtue within his community.
